Passive income is one of the most effective ways to achieve financial freedom. By generating income

streams that require little to no active involvement, you can secure financial stability and even grow your wealth over time. In this post we will show from which assets we receive monthly income.
We currently have 6 passive income streams, but they vastly vary in how much they contribute to our goal.
Types of Passive income
1. Rental Income
Our biggest income source is currently our real-estate rental income (after expenses). That is currently around 300 euro per month and makes up for 56% of our current passive income. We expect this to grow around 50% this year, mainly because of a new apartment. Currently we only own rental properties in Hungary (Budapest and Miskolc). That is mainly because the rental market in the Netherlands is currently very unfavorable for investors. Maybe if it ever will change back, we would reconsider this.
2. Stock Dividends
Stock dividends are currently a small portion of our portfolio (around 3%). We are trying to build up our positions (either with dividend stocks or ETF's), but we currently lack funds to invest in this area further/faster. Our main focus is repaying the loan on our apartment. The goal is to have in the end a solid and diverse portfolio where dividend stocks have a prominent role.
3. Crypto (stake/earn)
We are mostly very conservative in our investments, but crypto is our play money. We don't like trading, because basically all the short-term trades we made were a disaster. Most of our money that we made with crypto are a result of staking and earn, but also the crypto card. In the last few years we made around 3.000 euro on cashback alone.
See our article about the card. https://www.easy-investing.info/post/crypto-com-card-review
4. Interest Income
The interest we earn is mostly because of high-yield-savings account that we have via Raisin. Raisin is basically a broker between you and different banks in Europe. All the banks are covered till 100k. You can choose out of a lot of banks. You can decide if you want to put your money away for a fixed amount of time, of a short amount of time.
Raisin is one of the market leaders and the most safe and user-friendly platforms out there. If you want to try it out, please use this link and we both can earn 50 euro.
5. P2P and P2B Loans
Peer-to-Peer and Peer-to-Business loans were a big part in the past of our portfolio. Especially the Peer-to-Peer loans we liked a lot. The platform that we still use is Robocash and we have a return of around 11% per year here. We build down our positions mainly because of our pursuit of real-estate, but it is a great way to get started with investing.
Peer-2-Business is a very small part of our investment. We mostly just invest via crowdfunding in sustainable projects, like windturbineparks and greengas. The returns on these projects are very low and I would not recommend it for a start. It is definitely something you can do later in your journey, but mostly because it has a positive impact on the world, not on your wallet.
